Meet Kaydence! Born at 25 weeks, doctors realized her mom was already dilated 3cm and ready to give birth. She weighed only 1 pound and 15 ounces and had anemia of prematurity, needed caffeine to remind her to breathe, an infection throughout her body, meningitis, a grade 3 brain hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, a hole in her heart, a perforated intestine, and retinopathy of prematurity. Kaydence has gone through many years of occupational and physical therapy which have made all the difference!
