Meet Lexi! Lexi is a bright 12 year old whose life was saved by the staff at St. John’s Children’s Hospital. At 27 weeks, Lexi’s mom had an emergency C-section and things were off to a scary start. Doctors even had her parents sign a DNR because they feared that they may not be able to save Lexi. Against all odds, Lexi persevered. Now, Lexi lives with CP, hydrocephalus, vision problems, developmental delays, and cerebellar hypoplasia. Lexi’s best friends are her mom and stuffed animal sidekick, Lola.
