Meet Lexi! Lexi is a bright 9-year-old whose life was saved by the staff at St. John’s Children’s Hospital. At 27 weeks, Lexi’s mom had an emergency C-section and things were off to a scary start. Doctors even had her parents sign a DNR because they feared that they may not be able to save Lexi. Against all odds, Lexi persevered. Now, Lexi lives with CP, hydrocephalus, vision problems, developmental delays, and cerebellar hypoplasia. Lexi’s best friend are her mom and stuffed animal sidekick, Lola. Lexi and Lola are thick as thieves and spend their free time advocating for the Children’s Miracle Network.
