Meet Lyndie! She was born at 23 weeks due to her mom’s amniotic fluid becoming infected. During her 9-month stay at the NICU, Lyndie had heart surgery, tracheostomy, and a g-tube placed. She also had to spend over 160 days on a ventilator while her body continued to develop in the NICU. At only 1 pound 5 ounces, she held her mom’s finger for the first time and it is their favorite memory together. She loves Mickey Mouse, Snapchat, and socializing.
