Meet Juan! In January 2016, Juan’s mother, Jennifer, noticed a lump on his neck and Juan began having high fevers out of nowhere. After multiple tests and ER visits, they were sent to St. John’s, where within 20 minutes of their arrival they were told to prepare themselves as the cause of Juan’s sickness might be cancer. Unfortunately, it was. Juan was diagnosed with stage four anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Juan beat cancer once and it returned six months later. He had to receive a bone marrow transplant which proved successful and is now doing great!
