Why did you join IlliniThon?
I've always enjoyed work where I was able to serve others, especially children in need. I started volunteering at my local Ronald McDonald House and has only grown since joining IlliniThon back in 2018. It is so gratifying to work with people that share your goals and passions.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I'm most looking forward to working with our exec board in-person this year. I can't wait to get to know everyone and enjoy my last year on the board.

Why did you join IlliniThon?
As I reflect on my childhood, my memory is filled with endless adventures, games, and laughs. Unfortunately, these children are forced to grow up quickly and face the reality of this often difficult and unfair world. Their stories inspire me to fundraise critical items for the St. John’s Children’s Hospital and help others join our movement.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I am beyond excited to resume in-person activities. This is going to be the best year yet!!

Why did you join IlliniThon?
I joined IlliniThon because every child deserves the pleasures of the simple things that make being a kid such a carefree time in life. This experience these past 3 years has rewarded me in a way that nothing else has knowing that even the smallest difference can impact not only these children’s lives but also their families.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I am most looking forward to having family events again and spending time with our miracle families and kiddos -- and of course our in-person Big Event!

I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the miracle kids. Every kid deserves to have a life filled with plenty of birthdays, laughter, adventure, holidays, and more! Being able to make a positive impact is the most rewarding experience, and it's the biggest reason why I continue to be a part of IlliniThon.

Why did you join IlliniThon?
I know the challenges the kids and their parents face because my mom fought her own cancer battle not long ago. We faced many obstacles that no one should have to overcome, especially kids. My moms fight as well as my love for helping others is what caused me to join IlliniThon.
